It didn't take long for the #1 ranked Spartans to seize control over Pure Prep in a 122-59 win on Wednesday, Jan. 18. 

In limited minutes, Brodric Thomas notched a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.  He also added two assists, two blocks, and two steals.  Jamil Maddred led the team in scoring, followed by Jordan Johnson added 14 points while Calvin Chambers had 12 points and a team-high five assists.  As a team, the Spartans went 20 of 40 from downtown. 

The win moves Southwestern to 18-0 on the season.  They travel to Iowa Falls for a 3 p.m. match-up on Saturday, Jan. 21 with Ellsworth who is 8-8 overall and 1-1 in ICCAC play.
