Starting off the week taking on No. 14 ranked Iowa Western, Carson Busch was able to lead the Spartans to a huge win. Busch had the hot hand in the game and was the leading scorer with 21 points on 8-11 shooting from the field. He only missed one shot from beyond the arc, and one from the free throw line. While shooting efficiently, he went up and grabbed eight rebounds to pair with his points. NIACC was their next opponent, where Busch scored eight points. The Spartans are 4-5 in conference play after picking up two big Ws last week.
