Charlotte, NC - The NJCAA has announced the 2020-21 Academic Teams of the Year. NJCAA student-athletes continued to excel in the classroom as 820 teams earned at least a 3.0 GPA or better.

The Spartan men's cross country team and their 3.05 team GPA was good enough to receive recognition from the NJCAA. "One of the biggest goals we have for the student-athletes on our team is for them to be successful in the classroom," says director Scott Vicker. "At the end of the day, that is what it is all about. For our students to have such a successful year in the classroom during such a strange and difficult time is a true testament to their dedication and hard work."
