The Southwestern Spartans softball team concluded their season with a pair of losses against the top-seeded Iowa Western Community College. Despite their efforts, the Spartans were unable to overcome the strong performance of the Iowa Western Reivers in both games.

In the first game of the doubleheader, the Spartans faced a challenging opponent in the Reivers, resulting in a final score of 15-1 in favor of Iowa Western. The Spartans displayed determination throughout the game but were unable to gain momentum against the Reivers' formidable lineup.

The second game saw a similar outcome, with the Spartans falling to the Reivers with a final score of 11-0. Despite their best efforts, Southwestern struggled to generate offense against Iowa Western's strong pitching and defense.
