Nick Ekel, head coach for the Southwestern Community College (SWCC) track and cross country programs, announced this week he has recruited Kevin Paul Dietrich of Port Neches, TX, to run for the Spartan track and cross country teams beginning with the fall 2016 semester.

Dietrich is a four-year letter winner in cross country and track for Port Neches-Groves ISD. He graduated from high school in May 2016. Dietrich qualified for three regional cross country meets. Academically, he was named to the 2016 Academic All-District Team. He never missed a day of school from first through 12th grades.

He is the son of Jennifer and Jeffery Dietrich of Port Neches, TX.
