Jordan Strofaci signed two central Iowa track and field athletes to the 2017-18 Spartan team at Southwestern Community College:

Hannah Beenken - Beenken will graduate from Norwalk High School in May 2017. She was a 2015 state track and field qualifier in the discus. In high school, she also competed for four years on the basketball team and was named basketball MVP for her school. She is the daughter of Steve and Tammy Beenken of Norwalk.

Kirsten Schirm - Schirm will wrap up her high school career at Interstate 35 High School in May. Schirm and her high school track and field team were Pride of Iowa conference champs her freshman year. A jumper from Truro, Schirm is the daughter of Mandy Harper and Ryan and Rhea Schirm.
