Consistency Hurts Spartans in Loss vs Grand View JV

SWCC WBB vs Grand View JV

The Spartans dropped to 3-2 on the season following a 75-67 loss to Grand View JV at home on Thursday, Nov. 16.

Head Coach Addae Houston said the Spartans struggled with playing consistently throughout the night.

"We only played well in spurts during the game," explained Houston. "Against any team, you will get beat when you don't have a certain level of consistency throughout the game."

A well-balanced offensive attack had four Spartans scoring 10 or more points, however. Keaundra Washington, sophomore of Omaha, NE, led the team in scoring with a season-high 18 points. She also dished out five assists. Fallyn Beemer, sophomore of Bedford, added 14 points and Jasmine Aviles, freshman of Crawfordville, FL, scored 13 points.

The Spartans will be back in action vs. North Central Missouri College at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, at home.
