Creston, IA - The Southwestern Spartans women's basketball team is gearing up for a pivotal showdown in the Region 11-B Championship against Iowa Western, currently ranked #5 in the nation. During the first game on home turf, the Spartans fought valiantly, with standout performances from key players. Mikayla Hearon dominated the court with an impressive double-double, tallying 14 points and 10 rebounds. Brooklyn Hadl and Cassidy Nelson also made significant contributions, adding 16 and 11 points respectively to the scoreboard.
