Tez Coleman joined the women's basketball program as an assistant coach during the fall 2022 semester. Coleman has played football and basketball his entire life.

Coleman was an all-region receiver in high school. Following high school graduation, he played football for four years at Kentucky Christian University. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in sports management. 

In addition to his football accolades, Coleman has assisted with coaching AAU basketball teams and has worked with a few students in high school.

Coleman is Southwestern's athletic success coach and a residence hall coordinator. He is working toward his master's degree in sports management at Northwest Missouri State University.
