Omaha's Clayton Rhoads, a 2016 graduate of Omaha Burke High School, has committed to playing for the Southwestern Community College Spartans baseball program starting with the fall 2016 semester.

Rhoads, who pitches and plays second base and shortstop, had a .429 batting average this summer for the Bulldogs.

Rhoads is the son of former Spartan baseball player Randy Rhoads and Janel Digilio of Omaha.
