In the second game of a doubleheader against Iowa Lakes, Lodge, hailing from Lincoln, NE, pitched six innings, contributing significantly to the Spartans' 3-1 victory. Despite not playing in the first game, Lodge's presence on the mound proved crucial in securing a split in the doubleheader.
