Spartans sign Kentucky combo guard

Creston, IOWA—Amareion J. Doctor of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball for the Southwestern Community College men’s basketball team during the team’s 2023-24 season.

Doctor, a May 2022 graduate of John Hardin High School, is a two-time district MVP, two-time regional MVP, all area player of the year, KHSAA State MVP, two-time first team all-area player, and a second team all-state player. At 6 feet, 4 inches tall, Doctor will bring his height to the Southwestern Spartans team as a combo guard.

He is the son of AunJané Rodgers and H.J. Ernest Doctor, Jr.
