Congratulations to the SWCC Dance Team on hosting a successful Ella & Maddie Showcase on Saturday, Nov. 30!

The Southwestern Community College dance team is hosting the 2024 Ella & Maddie Showcase on Saturday, Nov. 30, in the SWCC Student Center gymnasium.

"This accomplishment is a testament to the hard work and perseverance of our student-athletes, coaches, and academic support staff," said Paul Purvis, Athletic Director of Southwestern Community College.

Coach Paige Russo announced Mount Ayr High School’s Liliana Aguilar will join the Southwestern Community College Dazzlers dance team beginning with the fall 2024 semester.

Cloe Guion, a senior at Winterset High School, has committed to the Southwestern Community College (SWCC) dance program for the 2024-25 season.

Bryce Newton of Corning has been named assistant dance coach at Southwestern Community College for the team’s 2023-24 season.

The service starts at 8:15 p.m., and will be followed by the candlelight vigil. Pastors and counselors will be present if individuals need to talk. The public is invited to attend.

Late last week, Kameryn Phelps of Lamoni was announced as the newest member of the 2023-24 Southwestern Community College Dazzlers dance team.
